We sat down with Carmen Shah, Kara Markovich, and Jocelyn Bray of Ella Events to find out what fads, fashion, and food they're crushing on right now.

The ladies of Ella Events come from different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: They learned to love event, fashion, and the art of hosting fabulous parties from their grandmothers. Carmen Shah, Kara Markovich and Jocelyn Bray specialize in planning remarkable weddings. Their 13 years of experience in the wedding planning industry have taught them to always be prepared and carry essentials like double-sided tape and plenty of extra frosting for the wedding cake.

We sat down with the ladies to find out what products, places, and sources of inspiration they’re loving lately!

PBG: Who does your hair and/or makeup?

KM: Eilish Strawberry Hynes at Eilish Hair Design

CS: Kim Namanny at WindowWall

JB: Ryann at Ryann Bosetti Studio

EE: We all go DIY on the makeup front with help from Bobbi Brown, NARS and Covergirl Cosmetics.

PBG: What’s the best resource for wedding planning (other than Ella Events?)

EE: We all agree unanimously: Your circle of friends! In this age of information overload there is nothing better than the old-school approach of asking your peeps what they loved and more importantly what they would have done differently.
