Simpatica was born out of our butcher counter in City Market NW in January 2005. We quickly realized that we would need more space to accommodate our burgeoning catering company. So in June 2005, we moved into the Pine Street Studios building.
Simpatica Dining Hall has seen it all. “Meal of the Year” in USA TODAY. “Top 10 Hottest Restaurants” in Bon Appetit. We started Portland’s brunch craze here, and were named one of the country’s best by Food & Wine magazine. We take great pride in those accomplishments and in the many celebrated chefs who have called Simpatica home through the years.
Private dining is what we do now and we do it well. While we have cleaned up and grown up here at Simpatica, we still have the same energy and passion for food. We are available to host you for brunch, lunch, or dinner, 7 days a week.
We are also proud owners of Laurelhurst Market, Ate-oh-Ate, Reverend’s BBQ, and Big’s Chicken. If you know our restaurants, you know our commitment to quality, flavor and friendly service. Simpatica is where it all started and that still shows today.
